Program Pledge: Radio Free Krypton
Radio Free Krypton is the only comics radio show broadcast throughout the multiverse. Hosts Justin Chandler, Jacob Dubé and Mitchell Thompson interview comic creators and talk comics.

Radio Free Krypton is excited to be part of CJRU 1280AM's pledge drive, and to be raising funds for a truly incredible organization. We really appreciate your help, and have some awesome gifts for pledgers!

“They’re called graphic novels, Mom” - $20

A $20-pledge means we thank you on air and send you a comics postcard with a poorly-drawn personalized comic on the back.

"Read em and weep" - $40

A $40-pledge means the RFK team will do a book club review of a comic book of your choice* on-air!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This fall, CJRU 1280AM needs to raise $3300 to continue our successful Refugee Radio program. With your help, we can continue to offer weekly workshops for Syrian refugees, providing meals, tokens, mentorship and a place to learn new skills. Each participant produces a mini-documentary for radio, while refining their confidence in English. Even a dollar goes a long way in providing better accessibility for our participants!

Pledge what you can to support Refugee Radio, and we’ll provide you with one entry into our amazing raffle for every dollar you pledge!
CJRU 1280AM is Ryerson University's campus and community multi-media hub. Our station airs a variety of programming from the university, Ryerson students, the community at large and from the NCRA Program Exchange. In March of 2016 we started broadcasting on the AM dial and we're still working towards filling our program grid with diverse and eclectic sounds and voices. Do you have a great idea for a show? Visit our Volunteer page to find out how you can get involved. If you'd just like to know what's happening at the station join our mailing list.

*RFK reserves the right to turn down any comic book requests that they find objectionable. Should they exercise this right, you may request a different comic book.
