Program Pledge: PIVOTcast
From the dimly-lit backrooms, straight to your headphones, PIVOTcast is Toronto's vibrant, cocky, and singular reading series.
PIVOTcast is very excited to be part of CJRU 1280AM's pledge drive, and to be raising funds for a truly incredible organization. We really appreciate your help, and have some awesome gifts for pledgers!
$10 - Recorded  "thank you" on the Podcast

$30 - Studio Recording of YOUR Reading (up to 20 minutes!)
Are you a writer? Would you like a recording of one of your written works? This offer is for you! We'll invite you to CJRU's studios to record a high-quality recording of you reading your piece (whether it's a few poems or an excerpt from your book!)
$50 - Studio Recording of YOUR Reading (up to 30 minutes!) WITH sound effects and/or voice actors!
This is another offer for all you writers out there! We'll invite you to CJRU's studios to record your reading of your written work AND we'll record and mix sound effects and invite volunteer voice actors to do the reading if that's something you're interested in!

From September 25th to October 1st, CJRU 1280AM will be hosting our Fall pledge drive. This year’s theme, “Make Local Waves”, reflects our goal of using local radio to make a positive impact on our community. For CJRU 1280AM, this means raising $2,500 to support diverse local musicians, student and community projects, and make our studio space more accessible. To accomplish this, we need your help!

We are seeking pledges from our listeners and community members, and have some awesome thank you gifts to give out. As well, we are hosting the Metal on Metal concert on September 29th (8PM) at Coalition T.O. Click here to buy tickets and visit the Facebook event for more information.

CJRU 1280AM is Ryerson University's new campus and community multi-media hub. Our station airs a variety of programming from the university, Ryerson students, the community at large and from the NCRA Program Exchange. In March of 2016 we started broadcasting on the AM dial and we're still working towards filling our program grid with diverse and eclectic sounds and voices. Do you have a great idea for a show? Visit our Volunteer page to find out how you can get involved. If you'd just like to know what's happening at the station join our mailing list.
